What's the big deal?

What's the big deal? I'll tell ya what the big deal is. Shopping these days. That's a big deal. I am amazed at the amount of money we spend each month on groceries. I make a list each week on a pad that lies on top of the microwave. Brian adds to the list more than I do. There's the Sam's side and the Walmart side. I like Meijer but Brian likes Walmart, so since he does the shopping, he gets to pick the stores. I go with him ocassionally if I happen to be in Champaign or bored on a saturday (what?). He doesn't like using coupons, because "it's just one more thing to think about." However, he is very good at finding deals.

For example, I use the nasal strips, you know the ones you see the big athletes wearing during football games? No, I don't play football........I snore, but not when I wear these strips. We buy a box of 30 for around $10 each month, so yeah, it gets pretty expensive over a year. Well, he finds the new ONE SIZE FITS ALL box at Sam's the other day. He calls and says, "You get 40 more for two bucks!" I ask, "Are you SURE they'll fit, cause I usually wear the small/med size?" He responds that he thinks so, it says one size fits all, and you get 40 more for two bucks! So, I agree to try them, cause it's a deal, right? When he gets them home, I pull them out and they're twice the size of the ones I usually wear! I slap one on that night, cause I said I'd try them. It's huge but it works well, so all is fine. Until the morning, when I wake up, pull off the strip and look in the mirror. My nose has been stretched wide and there is this large patch of puffy skin that won't retreat! I show Brian. Yeah, so? So, if I wear these, my nose is gonna be HUGE! Will you love me even with this huge nose? "Yeah, it doesn't matter", he says. It doesn't matter. Not, I will always love you, honey, even with a big nose! Just, it doesn't matter. As long as we're saving money, it doesn't matter.  So, Brian likes a good deal. Got it.

Well, I like a good deal, too. So, I've been trying to find shopping deals for all the stores we shop. Hard to do, especially when I have so little time to find coupons online and in flyers. Instead, I have been checking prices and finding sales through ZamZuu, my online shopping site. This site is an extension of my travel site. YTB, the travel company I work with, has decided to branch out into e-commerce and has developed a shopping site with over 600 online stores. I have been able to save money by earning cash back. LOVE IT! The exciting thing is, I can share it with anyone I want. Anyone can get cash back by shopping on ZamZuu, as long as you are invited by someone. Well, I'm inviting you. If you are reading this blog, you can get cash back when you shop. You can get a check in the mail. You can get the deal.

I will be blogging in order to share some of the deals I find on ZamZuu, so keep checking back, read the blog and find out where the deals are. But right now, go to my shopping site, check it out and register as a shopper. I will send you a $25 restaurant certificate by email when you register. There's your first deal!

Be sure to let me know what deals you have found on ZamZuu, so I can share them with other shoppers. Next blog will contain some of the deals on ZamZuu this week. Get started! Go to http://www.gottago.biz/ and click on the ZamZuu tab. That's a big deal.
